What is the fatherhood program about?

Our fatherhood program teaches the important role fathers play in their children’s lives with a focus on education pertaining to job readiness, proper parenting, domestic violence, substance abuse, and more. It is a 12 week, 24-hour fatherhood curriculum. Fathers Forever has been working closely with the Judges in Wake County Child Support Court Enforcement since April of 2010 to provide quality mentoring for fathers in NC.

How will my child benefit from me attending the program?

Fathers Forever has stood the test of time and we continue to receive referrals because of our program's effectiveness in mentoring fathers in NC. Our work with the fathers is multiplied in the community as they make changes in their own lives and thus, have a dramatic positive impact on the lives of their children and the mother of their children. Not only that, but since the children now experience a positive relationship with their father, the ripple effect on their families extends into future generations.
